The instruction manual is very clear. At least it allowed me to master the method of using the machine, which is much more effective than using it blindly.
I have to laugh at myself now, but this meat grinder is amazing… once you use it the right way! A couple of weeks ago, I bought this grinder a shot. Last weekend, I set it up to make that famous meatloaf mix. Even though the directions clearly indicate which way the cutting blade goes (and I read this twice on the "Stop" warning that comes with the machine), I somehow managed to insert it backwards. What a mess! As I was grinding, I kept thinking, "Why would anyone go through all this trouble?" I had to stop several times to clean the auger. Frustrating, right? After washing all the parts for the fourth time and drying them, I finally realized my mistake: the blade was in backwards. Felt like such an idiot! Finally reoriented the blade and it worked! What a difference proper assembly makes!
Wow, what a difference! After realizing I had the blade installed incorrectly, I reassembled it the right way and ground 3 lbs of beef chuck and 1 lb of tri tip for burgers. The process was smooth and effortless. Love this grinder!
This grinder is excellent value for the money. It performs just as well as more expensive models but at a fraction of the cost.
